ALOHA PRIDE
STREET FESTIVAL
A Boo'z & Ghouls Themed Benefit for
(Honolulu, Hawaiʿi)—On Saturday, October 12, Honolulu Beerworks, “a neighborhood craft brewery in the heart of Kakaʿako,” will host the Aloha Pride Street Festival, part of Oahu’s month-long celebration of its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hawaiʿi Health & Harm Reduction Center (HHHRC), a non-profit providing needed services to underserved populations, including the unsheltered and those living with HIV, to reduce harm, promote health, create wellness, and fight stigma.
The Halloween-themed community event, which runs from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM at 328 Cooke St., will feature food made with fresh ingredients and a beer selection including Belgian-style farmhouse ales and seasonal fresh-hop beers. The live music beings at 7 PM and will be headlined by longtime island favorite Kapena. Led by Kelly Boy De Lima, the group won four Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards in 2019 for “Planea Ole.”
Experience Passes Available for Purchase at the Aloha Pride Street Festival website: www.AlohaPrideFestival.com.
